Canadian rapper Drake will be both the host as well as the musical guest on this week’s “Saturday Night Live.” In promotion of the show, Drake also put out a hilarious spoof of his days on the hit show “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” where he played Jimmy Brooks.
In the promo, Drake shows his “softer” side, saying he was the saddest person in all of Canada.
Drake released his fourth studio album, “Nothing Was the Same,” last year, and was also named the new “global ambassador” for the Toronto Raptors. He is in the midst of his most recent tour, Would You like a Tour?.
“Saturday Night Live” airs on Global.
