Last night team Crave headed to EPIC Nightclub in the heart of Park City, Utah to kick of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
This newly renovated underground venue (previously Star Bar) had a line up the stairs, out the door and was teeming with fans anxiously waiting to see headliners K Theory and Party Favor. From the minute we walked in the door to end of the night, the place was at 100% energy. Kids with sunglasses danced feverishly on the main dance floor, while rows of people sat across the room, hooked up to flavored oxygen tanks.
On top of that, what seemed to be an endless cycle of go-go-girls danced on raised platforms scattered across the dance floor and on stage in front of the entrancing visual display of the DJ booth. Amongst all the craziness, we were able to steal 5 minutes from show opener DJ Funkee Boss who gave us the lowdown on how Park City gets “turnt up” when Sundance rolls into town.
