Since Super Bowl XLVIII didn’t get completely frozen out by the weather in MetLife Stadium, some more cold weather, outdoor teams are stepping forward to get their shot to host the big game.
According to Crave’s NESN, Chicago and Boston (New England) are just two of the organizations who are expressing interest in the next Super Bowl that isn’t already spoken for: Super Bowl LIII in 2019. Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel has already lobbied NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and the Redskins, Patriots and Eagles are already circling for their shot.
