According to the description, Alex Honnold free-soloed El Sendero Luminoso in El Portrero Chico, Mexico on Jan. 15. The climb took Honnold over three hours and took him to heights of 2,500 feet to the summit of El Toro. Many are considering it the most difficult ropeless climb in history. I'm sure North Face, and Honnold's buddy who prepped for climb for him, are just glad he didn't die on camera.
