We’ll admit it — we’ve been more than a little skeptical about NBC’s upcoming series “Constantine,” based on DC’s resident occult bad-ass John Constantine.
Despite formidable behind-the-scenes talents like executive producer John S. Goyer and pilot director Neil Marshall, NBC doesn’t exactly have the greatest track record for producing quality entertainment lately (“Hannibal” notwithstanding).
And the comments earlier this year from NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt didn’t exactly inspire confidence either.
However, we gotta say — star Matt Ryan is at least looking the part in this first official image from the in-production pilot, as posted by Crave’s film site SuperHeroHype.
