PAX EAST 2014: Evolve Hands-On Preview

The Evolve booth was easily one of the most fantastic displays on the floor of PAX East 2014. Fans and media swarmed the giant monster statue all weekend for photo opportunities. The line to play the demo snaked around the booth and into the isles as people waited for hours for a chance to try Turtle Rocks Studios’ upcoming first person shooter.

Someone once asked me what my favorite game for the N64 was. I told them it was Waverace 64. After the initial shock wore off they composed themselves enough to start spewing forth title after title of games which they thought were better than Waverace. Before the list grew too long I calmly interjected, "Yes, those are all wonderful games to play but to do so I'd have to put my drink down.
