Yes, we know Drake is Canadian…but does that mean he has to become the unofficial poster boy for the Toronto Raptors and all things Canada during these NBA Playoffs?
Drake has been a very prominent supporter of his northern Raptor brothers during Toronto’s playoff run, so he pretty much left himself open for some hijinks, courtesy of the Raptors’ current opponents the Brooklyn Nets.
During Friday night’s Game 6 at the Barclays Center, the Nets Jumbotron crew found Drake in his courtside seat — and decided to remake his image a bit.
As pointed out by Crave sports site NESN, Drake did not seem overly pleased at the Nets’ liberties. And seriously, dude…maybe you should just smile and take the good-natured ribbing. It’s only a basketball game…it’s not like this is something ridiculously important like the Grammys or anything.
