May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month as the warmer weather kicks off the national riding scene.
As a special offer aimed at dedicated riders who spend a lot of time on their bikes, or at cross country touring bikers who could run into trouble far from home, Medjet is offering a discount on its airlift insurance. Essentially, the service protects its subscribers from serious financial hits arising from an accident transpiring at distance from a hometown.
Medjet runs around the world. If members become hospitalized more than 150 miles from home and meets transport criteria, Medjet arranges medical transport to the hospital of their choice within their home country at no additional cost beyond the membership fee.
An annual individual membership runs $260 per year.
