Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed to 2015

After dropping an awesome new trailer not two weeks ago, it seemed like everything was a-ok at Rocksteady Studios for that planned October 2014 release of the much-anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight.

Unfortunately, you’re going to have to hold off on that trilogy-closing chapter a little while longer following Tuesday’s announcement that the game has been delayed until 2015.

As pointed out by Crave gaming site Game Revolution, WB Games did put out an all-new trailer of footage to give us a closer look at the redesigned Batmobile as a way of announcing the new release date — but let’s just go ahead and call this delay what it is: a big disappointment.

With Batman: Arkham Knight becoming just the latest high-profile fall 2014 game we won’t see until 2015 (along with The Order: 1886, The Division, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the new Mad Max game, among others), we’ve only got one question: just what game are we going to buy for Christmas this year, anyway?

Disappointed.
