Netflix are set to follow-up the success of their critically acclaimed live-action shows “Orange is the New Black” and “House of Cards” with a new adult cartoon series. “Arrested Development“‘s Will Arnett will voice the titular BoJack Horseman, a horse and washed-up sitcom actor.
Joining Arnett will be comedy veteran Amy Sedaris, who voices Horseman’s feline agent and ex; “Community“‘s Alison Brie as Horseman’s human girlfriend; “Bob’s Burgers“‘ Paul F. Tompkins as the golden retriever Mr. Peanutbutter; and “Breaking Bad“‘s Aaron Paul as Horseman’s Jesse Pinkman-like human friend.
Check out the series trailer below, which shows Horseman — 18 years removed from his last acting gig — fixing up his morning cocktail of vodka and pills, making multiple inter-species faux pas and palling around with Paul’s character. As Slate reports, all 12 episodes of “BoJack Horseman” will be available to stream from Aug. 22.
