Ever wanted to know more about Handsome Jack from the days before he became the CEO of Hyperion?
Yeah, we didn't really either, but that doesn't mean we aren't still looking forward to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel now that 2K Games has announced the backstory-heavy installment will street October 14.
To whet your appetite, 2K even pushed out a new trailer, giving us an idea of some of the new environments and characters at play in this adventure set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2.
Since no good game launch comes without some bonus content these days, Crave gaming site Destructoid is also reporting on the introduction of the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit pre-order bonus, a place players can battle in a zero g atmosphere to pick up unique loot.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel won't be available on next-gen systems, but you can pick it up for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 14.
