And with USA Soccer ready to face Ghana in their World Cup opener Monday, Donovan would usually be preparing for the big game — that is, if he hadn't been left off the 2014 national squad by USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
So what does the U.S. team's all-time scoring and assist leader do when he's NOT gonna play for the national squad? Well, he's apparently playing 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil on his Xbox, according to a funny new ad from EA.
As pointed out by Crave sports site NESN, it's nice to see Donovan has a sense of humor about what's got to be a fairly painful snub.
