Rum Dawa Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of raw sugar
  • 4 cl Ginger and Lemongrass infused rum
  • 2 cl Aloe Vera Juice
  • Ice cubes

Infusion Method:

To infuse the rum start with a clean, air-tight jar.

Place a few shavings of raw ginger and a small branch of lemongrass inside the jar. Fill the jar with rum and cover tightly with lid. Store the jar in a dark place and shake 3-5 times a day.

Infuse for one week before tasting. If the flavor is too weak, continue to infuse.

Once your infusion is complete, strain the rum into a clean jar.

Cocktail:

Muddle the lime and raw sugar in a glass and fill with ice.

Add the rum and juice and stir well.

Serve in a Mason jar and garnish with a wooden stirrer coated with honey.
