The 2014 FIFA World Cup Final contenders have been decided.
After 90 minutes of regulation play, and two 15-minute extra time periods, Argentina squeaked past Netherlands by way of penalty kicks. It looks like the final will be a cross-continent showdown, Europe vs South America, Germany vs Argentina.
Maxi Rodriguez hammered the final nail in Netherlands’ coffin for Argentina, putting his team ahead 4-2 in penalties, ending any chance at a Dutch comeback. Are you ready for final match? Who will win? Will Germany rout Argentina and send the South American continent reeling once again? Or will the Argentine players come together and stand strong when Brazil was unable?
