FX Canada as well as FXX revealed its plans for the fall 2014 season, and hit shows like “Freak Show: American Horror Story” and “Sons of Anarchy” are back with all-new episodes.
This fall, audiences will get a front-row seat to seasons of the most buzz-worthy and critically acclaimed dramas and comedies, along with live NHL action, when they make their eagerly awaited debuts on FX Canada and FXX. Featured on the roster of must-see programming is a new edition of Ryan Murphy’s thrilling drama “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” which is set in 1950s Juniper, Florida and centres around one of the last remaining freak shows of the time, along with new episodes of off-colour comedies “The League,” which is going into its sixth season, and “Ali G: Rezurection,” starring Academy and Emmy Award nominated creator and writer Sacha Baron Cohen – the series features every episode of “Da Ali G Show,” many of which have never aired on North American television.
And new NHL game coverage is coming with the addition of “Hockey Night in Canada.” Every Saturday night, beginning October 11th at 7pm, sports fans can catch host George Stroumboulopoulos, along with Ron MacLean and Don Cherry on “Coach’s Corner,” as part of an expanded “Hockey Night in Canada,” featuring twice as many Saturday night NHL games than ever before for Canadians.
The new fall season for the two networks begins on September 3rd.
