As a band-aid to help heal the wound inflicted on players by recent matchmaking issues in The Last of Us, Naughty Dog decided to make, and give away, two free maps as a way of showing appreciation for everyone’s continued patience while they work to resolve the aforementioned problems.
I think it’s a kind gesture and shows that Naughty Dog is indeed aware of what’s going on and how it’s affected gamers.
