To put a long story short, Chloe Moretz (Hit-Girl) said “I think I’m done with the character” and that Kick-Ass didn’t do well because of piracy; it was a top-pirated film.
Her outlook on more Kick-Ass films is bleak, suggesting that not enough revenue came in. It’s sad, considering the movies reviewed decently and garnered many fans. Perhaps this is a lesson to those that choose to download instead of supporting?
