The highly anticipated Fan Expo Canada is getting started today in Toronto, running until Sunday and showcasing hundreds of vendors as well as featuring a number of celebs, including the iconic Stan Lee.
Fan Expo Canada boasts the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event in Canada, the third largest in North America. This year’s big-draw guests include Stan Lee (“X-Men,” “Spider-Man”), Patrick Stewart (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”), Richard Dreyfuss (“Jaws”), Stephen Amell (“Arrow”), Ian Somerhalder (“The Vampire Diaries”), William Shatner, and Danai Gurira (“The Walking Dead”). There will be autograph sessions and celeb Q&As as well as Cosplay workshops and clinics, panel discussions, games, kid’s activities, and after parties.
More than 125,000 people are expected to come through the doors of this installment of Fan Expo Canada, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary. It looks like those legions of fans won’t be disappointed,” wrote Aaron Broverman of Huffington Post Canada.
Fan Expo runs from today until Sunday, August 31st at Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
