CraveOnline‘s stalwart reporters and critics, William “Bibbs” Bibbiani and Brian Formo, report to you from the bustling streets of Toronto, all during the hubbub of the Toronto International Film Festival. In the above video, they recap the films they saw on their very first day at the fest, and give you their findings.
Between the two of them, they only saw three films on the first day, which is downright trim for most film journalists, but that can be chalked up to a busy day of travel. Brian talks a little bit about the French film Eden, about a hardworking DJ, and William declares that he saw one of the best – and one of the worst – films of the year between Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner, and the Robert Downey, Jr. film The Judge.

The Judge will be released in theaters on October 10th. Mr. Turner will have a limited released in the U.S. on the 19th of December, and Eden does not yet have a selected U.S. release date, so keep an eye out.
