Ray Rice has been released from the Ravens, according to the Baltimore Ravens via Twitter. The decision likely comes following a video of Rice punching his then fiancee, knocking her out cold.

Footage from the Ray Rice domestic case was finally released early Monday by TMZ. In the elevator footage from an Atlantic City casino on Feb. 15, one can clearly see Rice punch his future wife, Janay Palmer, in the head, causing her to fall to the ground unconscious. You can see the video below.
Rice was suspended two games by the NFL following the incident in which a grand jury charged the Baltimore running back with third-degree aggravated assault, which is a felony. But it wasn’t until this video surfaced today that the Ravens released Rice from the team.
