TIFF 2014: Cut Snake – Interview with Alex Russell by CraveOnline
Alex Russell is a young actor you need to keep an eye on. Whether he’s headlining a found-footage Akira remake in the cult hit superhero movie Chronicle, or rapping about his impressive shark-fighting abilities, he always makes an impression. So we caught up with him at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival to get to know him a little better, and learn more about his festival entry Cut Snake, the new film from director Tony Ayres co-starring Sullivan Stapleton (300: Rise of an Empire) as an ex-con with a mysterious connection to Russell’s character, who must deal with this unexpected visitor or have his new life destroyed.
