A new series is coming to the Showcase network – “Satisfaction,” which explores what one modern couple does when having it all isn’t enough, stars Matt Passmore (“The Glades”) and Stephanie Szostak (“The Devil Wears Prada,” “Iron Man 3”), and will see its Canadian premiere on October 19th.
Called “provocative and sexily surprising” by TV Guide and “a must-watch new series” by ShowbizChicago.com, “Satisfaction” looks at modern marriage at its midpoint through the lens of one couple: Neil (Passmore) and Grace (Szostak) Truman, who find themselves searching for answers in this “complex narrative about the modern-day state of love and marriage” (Forbes.com) as they struggle to find fulfillment after 18 years of marriage, despite their deep love for one another.
Investment advisor Neil discovers that Grace is employing a male escort, Simon (Blair Redford, “The Lying Game,” “The Young and the Restless”), to cope with her own inner-dilemma. When a stunned Neil inadvertently winds up with Simon’s phone, he makes the shocking decision to try out the escort business for himself in the hope that the experience might offer some new insight.
Executive produced by Sean Jablonski (“Suits,” “Nip/Tuck”) and Russ Krasnoff (“Community”), “Satisfaction” also stars Michelle DeShon (“Hollywood Heights”), Katherine LaNasa (“The Campaign”), and Deanna Russo (“Knight Rider”).
“Satisfaction” begins on October 19th at 10pm on Showcase.
