Back in September, History premiered the four hour “Houdini” miniseries that featured Academy Award winner Adrien Brody as the legendary Harry Houdini.
In the early twentieth century, Houdini was considered to be one of the greatest escape artists alive. Even decades after his death, the name Houdini is synonymous with illusion, showmanship and seemingly dangerous stunts in front of a live audience.
On Tuesday, October 7, the “Houdini” miniseries comes to DVD and Blu-ray with an extended edition that adds 20 minutes of previously unseen footage from the story. The sets also include featurettes focusing on “The Great Escapes,” “The Real Houdini, “ “Cheating Death” and “Houdini the Greatest.”
