That’s right, if you’re aiming to become “unstuck” from the last generation of home video game consoles, you’ve got a free treat coming your way.
If you happen to purchase Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for either the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360, you’re eligible for a free digital version upgrade in the same family of next-gen (well technically, current-gen) console until March 31st of 2015.
Mind you, “same family” means that if you buy it on PS3, you’ll get the free digital version on PS4. If you grab it for Xbox 360, you’re eligible for the digital version for Xbox One only. So if you “switched sides” this generation, you won’t be getting your free upgrade for Call of Duty!
If you’re not eligible for the free upgrade, then I’m sure you’ll lose tons of sleep over it, right?
