Brett Favre Is “Glad” It’s Peyton Manning That Will Break His TD Record

After his four-touchdown performance against the Arizona Cardinals, which puts him at 503 touchdown passes in his career, Peyton Manning is closing in on Brett Favre’s record of 508.

Fortunately for both men involved, there’s no negativity or resentment surrounding this soon-to-be-broken record. In fact, Favre is happy that it’s Peyton Manning. He’s so happy, he actually had this to say:

“I’m glad it’s Peyton that’s doing it. I think a lot of Peyton. I know him well. I know his family well. His dad was one of my idols.”

If I were Peyton Manning, I’d be feeling pretty good about myself right about now after hearing that from one of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks of all time.

A hat tip goes to NESN for this story.
