For those of you who have kids in college, you may remember a TV show called Little House on the Prairie. For those of you who don’t remember or know about the series, it follows the lives of a simple farm family (the Ingalls) in Kansas in the late 1860s, after the US Civil War.
Sony’s picked up the movie, Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) is directing, Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men) is producing, and Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady) is providing the script. As you can see, there’s already a decent crop of talent at the head of this upcoming film, so we’ll hopefully see the wholesome and beloved TV show done some justice on the silver screen.
