There are spoilers ahead for “Arrow” Season 3!
But since you clicked on the link and have continued to read the article, we’re just going to assume that you want to know which enemy is coming back to “Arrow.” And the answer is… Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke.
As reported by MTV, former “Arrow” series regular Manu Bennett will be making an appearance as Slade Wilson on the series early in 2015. It’s not clear if Bennett’s appearance will be in a single episode or if Slade is back as a long term adversary.
At the end of “Arrow” Season 2, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally managed to defeat Slade in battle before imprisoning him at a secret A.R.G.U.S. prison on the island (Lian Yu) where they were trapped for over a year together. Slade is one of the most memorable “Arrow” villains to date because he and Oliver were once friends before Slade killed Oliver’s mother and nearly destroyed Starling city with an army of superhuman criminals.

The two prevailing theories about Slade’s reappearance on “Arrow” are that he will be seen in a flashback or Slade will keep his promise to Oliver and escape Lian Yu once again before seeking out his revenge. The flashback theory seems less likely if it’s connected to Oliver’s time in Hong Kong, since Oliver has already stated on the show that he didn’t see Slade after their battle on the Amazo. But that doesn’t mean that Slade can’t appear in someone else’s flashback…
According to MTV, Bennett’s appearance as Slade Wilson will be in the 14th episode of “Arrow” Season 3.
