There he is, Sherlock Holmes in all his retired and aged glory, played by 75 year-old Sir Ian McKellen. With his banded straw hat and cane, Holmes is seen talking to a young boy named Roger. We don’t really know what’s going on here, but we hope it’s something witty or curmudgeonly. In this unique look at the life of one of the greatest fictional characters of all time, we see a retired detective looking back on his life and struggling to deal with an unsolved case involving a beautiful woman.
While no US release date is scheduled yet, Mr. Holmes is set to hit theaters in Germany before March.
