Nazi gold and submarines await you on a very special bonus episode of The B-Movies Podcast! This week, we are joined by our first-ever Academy Award-winning guest (after in-depth interviews with nominees Phil Alden Robinson and Dan Gilroy). Kevin MacDonald won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2000 for One Day in September, and he’s coming back to theaters this weekend with Black Sea, a new thriller starring Jude Law (Hugo) as a submarine captain enlisted to salvage a shipment of gold that was lost during World War II. Black Sea co-stars Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) and Scoot McNairy (Gone Girl), and opens in theaters this weekend.
