The script’s done, and production is beginning in Italy, specifically Rome, this spring. Shooting will last around twelve weeks. Talent like Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell and Penelope Cruz are on board and ready to bring us the sequel to the cult classic that didn’t do the greatest in the theater, but lived on through memes.
The story will be taking place ten years later, and it looks like Derek and Hansel, while no longer as relevant as before, are sticking around. Word’s going around that Hansel is even disfigured for some reason. That could prove to be funny in and of itself, knowing these wackos.
