CraveOnline Hosts ‘Hackers’ in 35mm on Friday, March 6

Are you a child of the 1990s? Have you ever wanted to hack the planet? Do you just love 35mm screenings of cult classics and getting awesome prizes just for showing up? Then we’ve got just the thing for you: a very special midnight screening of Hackers, starring Angelina Jolie and Jonny Lee Miller, this Friday, March 6 at the Nuart Theatre in Los Angeles! Buy your tickets now!

CraveOnline’s B-Movies Podcast co-hosts William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold will be there in person to give out tons of free swag and introduce one of the best, and most underappreciated cult films of the ’90s. Hackers isn’t even available on Blu-ray, but we’ll be screening it in beautiful 35mm in a very special midnight presentation.

Starring Jonny Lee Miller (Trainspotting) and a young Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider), Hackers tells the story of a small cadre of teenaged computer experts who run afoul of a corporate conspiracy and use their elite hacking skills to change the world to their own advantage. Directed by Iain Softley (The Skeleton Key), Hackers represents only the best of what the 1990s had to offer: awesome soundtracks, killer music video cinematography, the last dying scream of true adolescent rebellion and Angelina Jolie’s nipples sneaking into an “approved for all ages” trailer. (It’s at 2:12. How’s THAT for renegade?)
