One of the ongoing storylines of Gotham has been focused on the corruption within Wayne Enterprises, with company insiders potentially targeting Bruce Wayne for threatening to expose them. However, one of the Wayne family’s most famous allies is about to arrive on the show.
Deadline is reporting that Chris Chalk has been cast as Lucius Fox in Gotham. Chalk will make his first appearance on the show in the 21st episode of the first season, with an option to continue the role in the second season.
Lucius Fox was created by Len Wein and John Calnan in 1979 as a supporting character in the Batman mythos who became one of Bruce Wayne’s most trusted employees and the CEO of Wayne Enterprises. The Christopher Nolan Batman films featured Morgan Freeman in the role of Lucius Fox, who was also the mastermind behind many of Batman’s vehicles and weapons in that incarnation.
