The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, which kicked off yesterday, is boasting a number of big-name guests, including celebs like Neil Patrick Harris, as they commemorate their 10th anniversary.
Rosario Dawson (Sin City I and II, Daredevil), Matt Ryan (Constantine), and Dania Gurira (The Walking Dead) will also make special appearances at the event.
The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo is known for its diverse line-up of presentations, workshops, and more, and this year is certainly no exception. There will be everything from stage fighting and monologue workshops to readings of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, discussions on women in comics, meet and greets with guests, and more. And, as always, there will be extensive gaming opportunities for attendees, like a classic arcade as well as a new video game area, which will have interactive tournaments and video gaming demonstrations (registration for the gaming tournaments will be done onsite only). In total, the 2015 Calgary Expo encompasses the entire BMO Centre, the Palomino Rooms, the Boyce Theatre, the Stampede Corral, the Big Four Building, the new Agrium Western Event Centre and part of the outdoors in Stampede Park – that’s over 450,000 square feet of things to check out.
