Watch The First Teaser Trailer For DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Last night on the third season finale of Arrow, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) was caught in an explosion during his latest experiment.

Of course, Ray isn’t dead… he’s simply moving to a new show. The CW has slated DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for a midseason premiere alongside its parent series Arrow and The Flash.

Today, The CW confirmed that former Arrow co-star, Caity Lotz will be reprising her role as Sara Lance on Legends of Tomorrow despite her apparent death earlier this season. After Sara’s return, she will be known as White Canary. Joining Lotz and Routh on the new series are Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein, Ciarra Renee as Hawkgirl, Dominic Purcell as Heatwave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, the time traveling hero who assembles the new team.

The CW didn’t film a full pilot for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but the pilot presentation trailer has been released. In it, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) are on hand as Rip assembles the team and warns them about Vandal Savage, the powerful immortal whom they must defeat.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere in early 2016 and it will run concurrently with The Flash and Arrow on The CW.
