Kansas State Band’s Halftime Show Looks Like Jayhawk Giving Fellatio

In the midst of a wild and crazy first Saturday of college football, the Kansas State marching band provided some heavy comedic relief.

During the halftime show of K-State’s season opener against South Dakota Saturday, the wildcat’s marching band tried to go all Ohio-State and illustrate an incredibly detailed performance. Their goal? A Star Trek theme where the Starship Enterprise goes up against a giant Kansas Jayhawk.

It didn’t exactly … turn out.

This might be the funniest video I’ve seen all year.

This fan had some extra fun with it, as Twitter was in a frenzy overnight.

K-State marching band director Frank Tracz released an apology, saying:

“The chart below represents the drill from tonight’s show,” Tracz wrote. “There was absolutely no intent to display anything other than the Enterprise and the Jayhawk in battle. If I am guilty of anything it would be the inability to teach the drill in a manner that these young people could have succeeded. I do apologize for the misinterpretation and I assure you that I meant absolutely no disrespect or malice toward the University of Kansas.”

It’s a legit alibi. But c’mon. These two schools are rivals and it’s more likely than not this band and its director knew exactly what they were doing. And it’s hysterical.

Thanks for laugh, ‘Cats. Now I just can’t wait to see how KU responds.
