If you go through Mandatory’s Instagram ‘Following’ list you will quickly realize that we follow a lot of attractive women. Not because we’re creeps, but because we’re all about gals who have a lot of confidence in themselves. But because of that we get to see the most recent photos of Instagram’s hotties. One of those hotties? Bella Thorne. And because so many of us follow her and like her photos, Thorne makes up to $65K per Instagram post. Yes, read that again.

According to Vogue, the 20-year-old actress/”singer” makes a ton per Instagram post. And Thorne has also revealed that she can make anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 for an Instagram story or Snapchat. And because of that she was able to buy a house.

“I started out at 18 with literally $200 in my bank account and I bought this house a year later,” Thorne said. “It’s all from social media.”

Back in 2016, Thorne was able to buy a 4,500-square-foot home in Los Angeles for $2 million. And that money mainly came from social media because I don’t think she’s done anything recently. Well, she was in The Babysitter on Netflix. Which while not groundbreaking, wasn’t terrible. So that’s something.

Thorne says she treats Instagram as a job, but she wants to take a break from social media to focus on her real job: acting. Well, that’s a good joke. It’s tough to take a hiatus from social media when you make so much from each post.

And if you’re wondering, Selena Gomez makes over half a million dollars with every Instagram post. More than any Kardashian. So yes, it is pretty clear that plenty of celebrities are taking advantage of social media and reeling in the dollars.

And as for you and me. Well, we’ll continue to share photos of our pets and bring in a whopping zero dollars.
