What Happened to Walker in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2?

Introduced in Yellowstone Season 1, Walker is an aspiring singer and a convicted felon, who albeit occurring in a recurring capacity has been a significant part of every installment. Initially, Wheeler hires him to take care of Dutton Ranch. However, he was tossed into Texas in Season 5 Part 1, making many wonder where his story ended up. His lesser screen time in the season has made viewers wonder where Walker is in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.

So, here are the details on what happened to Walker in the hit show.

Is Walker dead or alive in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2?

It remains unclear if Walker died in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.

Earlier, viewers were informed that the Dutton ranch might need a relocation, given their cattle were exposed to a perilous disease, brucellosis. If it spread widely, it might lead to the demise of not just cattle but also cowboys and ranchers. Therefore, Rip Wheeler makes a decision to take all his cowboys and move the ranch to Texas.

Given this decision, Walker also lends a hand in the relocation of the ranch to Four Sixes Ranch in Texas in Part 2’s premiere. However, Walker’s move to Texas has raised questions. This is because Walker is a convicted felon, who wasn’t permitted to leave Montana, given his parole. In such a situation, there might be two possibilities, which could have enabled his relocation, per The Direct.

Firstly, he might have convinced the parole officer, given his life was at risk at the Montana farm, and might have gotten approval for relocation. Another possibility is, that as he worked for John Dutton’s ranch, as a Governor of Montana, he might have aided him to reduce his sentence. However, these are just speculations and the upcoming episodes will likely showcase where his arc is headed.

Nevertheless, at the time of writing, it appears that his story is continuing in Texas, as the current premise has given no indication of his untimely demise.
