Spotlight | HUF Holiday 2016

Who better to represent the new collection from Los Angeles streetwear brand Huf than a musician that effortlessly embodies their vibe? For Holiday 2016, Huf put hip hop star MadeinTYO front and center to show of the relaxed new pieces they’ve released just in time for Fall/Winter. The artist behind “Uber Everywhere” tried out his attempt at modeling with great success – because we’re convinced we need all these new pieces.

Holiday 2016 features Huf staples we’ve come to count on, like satin baseball jackets and cotton crewnecks (avec expletives), but additionally a sportier take on street style that the brand does quite well, including military inspired pieces, like the MFG Canvas Shirt (which is perfect for MadeinTYO, as he actually grew up in a military family).

But it’s in the footwear that this collection truly elevates our senses. Huf has released team member Brad Cromer’s debut signature model, the Cromer, to our delight. Here, in acorn, is a low key skate shoe with vulcanized rubber soles that extend intoa toe cap for extra durability. Meanwhile, the Classic Hi x British Millerain integrates waxed cotton from the world’s premier manufacturer, in a style that is wearable with cropped denim, your favorite black skinnies, or even – fittingly – some cut-off jean shorts.
