Here’s The Most Searched Christmas Gift In Each State And It’s Not A Good Look For Louisiana And Alaska

Hailing from Wisconsin, I was stoked to see that folks in my home state have been searching for things like bluetooth speakers and mp3 players to gift to their loved ones at Christmas time instead of Pokémon, pajamas and subscription boxes.

The same can’t be said for those who call Alaska and Louisiana home.

According to BroBible, the gang at Treetopia put together a series of maps detailing the most searched Christmas gift in each state since 2012, and let’s just say Christmas has been sucking balls in both the “Last Frontier” and “Pelican State.” For starters, it looks as though friends and family members in Louisiana have been receiving a boatload of candy gifts and pajamas the last three years instead of something respectable like the jewelry they got in 2012 and 2013.

And Alaska? Well, statistics show the majority of citizens up there are hammered on a regular basis, and that must be the case when they do their Christmas shopping as well. Just what can an Alaskan loved one expect to find under their tree on Christmas morning? You guessed it – Pokémon, subscription boxes and LeapPads.

Take a look below at what your home state has searched for during the holidays the last few years. Let’s just say that it’s good to be from Oklahoma. I mean, the “Jelly of the Month” Club? That’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year!
