The 2018 Grammy’s, taking place on January 28, 2018, will be sure to be a star-filled extravaganza. It will actually be the first time in a whopping 15 years that the awards show leaves it’s usual home in Los Angeles and is hosted in New York City. In preparation of this annual evening celebrating the music that has filled our speakers for all of 2017, let’s take a moment to pay tribute to some of our favorite artists, and our favorite artist style.
Being a wildly popular musician, the type that gets you an invite to this esteemed event, isn’t just about the music. It’s about whole show. A big part of that is their look, and with our help, you can duplicate it. Bruno Mars has pop-fabulous over the top outfits. Try a little of his expressive style with velvet slip on Vans. Portugal. The Man. is all about understatement. We think they would appreciate a wear-everyday, well-made jacket by Carhartt WIP. And it wouldn’t be the Grammy’s in New York city without two things: Jay Z, and a New York Yankees licensed hat from the MLB.
The great thing about Grammy’s style is that you don’t have to emulate just your favorite artists. Turn the music down, and get some inspiration from the world’s greatest performers no matter the genre.
