1. Get To Know Someone Before Delving Into Your Personal Issues And Quirks
Sharing secrets with friends can be comforting and helpful, but you’ll get more out of it -- and so will they -- if you both build up a base of trust and understanding first.

You don’t have to be a pushover, but people like to be around people who are willing to listen to new views and try something different every now and then.
