St. Patrick’s Day is only one day every year (March 17), but if you’re truly Irish (or you really wish you were), you’ll celebrate the patron saint of Ireland for at least the whole month of March. And if you’re celebrating all month long, you’re going to need a lot of corned beef, bangers and mash, Irish Stouts, and of course, Irish whiskeys.
Obviously, when we think about Irish whiskey, the first name that comes to mind is Jameson. This classic whiskey is a staple of Irish pubs all year long. It has quite a following but already get its due every day of the year. That’s why, this month, try some of the lesser known (but by no means less quality) Irish whiskeys on the market. Just remember that March has already begun so you only have a few more weeks to try each and every one of these whiskeys.
Still not satisfied? Try these other great Irish whiskeys: Green Spot Single Pot Still, West Cork 10-Year-Old, Knappogue Castle 12-Year-Old Bourbon Cask Matures, Powers Signature Release, or Connemara.
