Kit Kat launches Santa Claus-shaped bars in its first-ever holiday-themed treat

Kit Kat’s Santa Claus bars have officially hit the market, making for an ideal sweet treat this holiday season. The Hershey Company, which holds the license to produce the candy brand in the U.S., announced the sweet news in a press release on Monday. In a statement, the confectionery company stated, “Santa Claus deserves a break, and thanks to KIT KAT®, he’s getting one this year with the launch of its first-ever seasonal shape – KIT KAT® Santas!”

Hershey’s noted that the Santa bars are a holiday edition launch and are in the market only for a limited run. The sweet treat comes in a remarkable form that is uncannily similar to the legendary Christmas figure and is likely one of the brand’s best festive additions to its holiday lineup.

These chocolate-covered wafer bars comprise Santa’s classic smile and mustache in addition to his hat, belt, tiny hands, and small imprinted boots. The press release also stated that these special edition candy bars have a more chocolate-to-wafer ratio, making them “crispier” than usual.

With that, Hershey’s announced that the Kit Kat Santa Claus bars are now available at stores nationwide. Moreover, the brand’s official website states, “These festive treats feature classic crispy wafers” with milk chocolate and arrive in a cutesy Santa shape for an exceptionally jolly holiday season.
