Friends, we have been duped.
You may remember that last week we dubbed Rob Cantor the “best celebrity impressionist on the Internet” after his YouTube video ’29 Celebrity Impressions, 1 Original Song’ went viral. Well, it turns out that Rob Cantor isn’t an impressionist after all, and the video was a result of him lip-syncing to the voices of his impressionist friends.
Rob has now released a new video on his channel that shows behind-the-scenes footage of the creation of the viral hit, and we can’t help but feel more than a little disappointed. It just goes to show that you shouldn’t believe anything that’s posted on the Internet. It’s like Kony 2012 all over again, only without Rob having a naked meltdown in San Diego.
