Prepare for a tour de taste buds Sydney, your favourite late night burger joint Mary’s is setting up shop in local tiki bar The Cliff Dive and this time they’re serving up the king of all late night snacks, the kebab.
Reports Good Food, starting this work from 8pm to 2am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday nights Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham of Mary’s will be serving a variety of specialised and unorthodox kebabs.
The Mary’s kebabs will be priced at around $10 a pop, and fillings include devil pork curry, Lebanese pickles and garlic sauce, slow roasted lamb neck with XO sauce and pickled turnip stalks. They haven’t forgotten about vegetarians either, they’ll have a roast-pumpkin option.
All this will accompany the Cliff Dive’s current Polynesian-inspired menu, which features South East Asian street food like wild ginger beef and satay chicken skewers.
“We’ve always loved the idea of doing kebabs,” Smyth told Good Food. “We’re just really excited to be opening a kebab joint in a nightclub — the world needs more of them.” Hear, hear.
