This is not a drill – Australia is getting a bacon warehouse party complete with some of the country’s food masterminds, a local DJ and, of course, bacon as far as the eye can see.
The party, called Bacon, Brunch & Bubbles, will be hitting up a Sydney warehouse later this month, uniting bacon fiends with other bacon fiends in the name of all things bacon.
The event is the creation of Aussie chef Luke Mangan and his team at MOJO, and will feature treats such as a bacon and egg brioche with chorizo jam, bacon and egg breaky empanadas and bacon and chorizo paella.
What’s more, N2 Gelato, Andy Bowdy, Blackstar Pastry, Cuccoo Callay (who have their own Bacon Festival) and Tippity Tea will be showcasing their best bacon creations.
Instagram baking phenom Katherine Sabbath will also be in attendance, while Sydney DJ Duncan Bell will be keeping the good food vibes flowing.
Bacon, Brunch & Bubbles will be held at 8 Danks Street, Waterloo on Saturday, 29th August. Doors open at 10:30am, and entry is $5. If there’s one meal we won’t be seeing at the party, though, it’s this monster:
