If supercars have personalities, the Nissan GT-R is the nerd in glasses who can run 4.2 40 meter. While every car is stuffed with elite technology, few cars make you feel the tech as clearly as the GT-R.
So, the Javits Center Floor stopped during its press preview days to witness the unveiling of the 2017 Nissan GT-R.

GT-R stands for a mix of Grand Touring and Racing, so its designers want it to be outstanding on the track and on the drive home. Nissan’s halo car turns 10 years old next year, so the Japanese automaker brought some significant changes to the 2017 model.
Overall horsepower increases by 20 manes to 565, with a focus on more rapid acceleration. With the car not expected to appear on Nissan’s menu until late 2016, exact numbers on top speed or 0-60 times are still pending.
If it’s possible to combine such description, the GT-R is an understated supercar. It wants to move as quickly as a Lamborghini or Ferrari without the flash and noise. Nissan’s top machine is about subtle feel more than savage noise. So, the 2017 GT-R will offer a Titanium exhaust system with new Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement technologies to filter out outside fuss. Acoustic glass and targeted sound dampening reduce wind sound and road noise into the cockpit.
A machine that will be so packed with driving, safety and performance tech needs to keep up in the infotainment department, so Nissan will throw in the new NissanConnect with navigation, mobile apps and driver services.
