Cops are brave and tough, and they put their lives on the line sometimes. But then there are other times that they remind us that they have their moments as well. It’s kind of like the moment that this Florida cop handled a mouse. And let’s just say that a Louisiana sheriff’s deputy had quite the “moment” recently.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office took it to their Facebook to share a video of a small alligator being captured, tied up and prepared to be taken back to safety. But before that could occur the alligator decided to snap at one of the officers. And even though the alligator’s mouth was shut closed this officer couldn’t help but to react this way:
Here’s how the department described it on their Facebook:
“Our deputies respond to all kinds of calls, from crime to gators! Side note, we’re not sure if our deputy was screaming like that, but it sure sounded like it, haha.”
That poor cop will be hearing about this for the rest of the year (and probably the rest of his career as well). Then again I would have reacted the same way. I would have also ran the fastest I’ve ever ran before.
