These days kangaroos do not want to be messed with at all, folks.
The last time we mentioned a kangaroo it was to let you all know that it had collided with a cyclist and wiped her out. Before that it was to tell you all of a kangaroo who attacked an old man who was feeding it toast. But this time around? Well this time around it’s to tell you all about a kangaroo who wanted nothing to do with a hunter.
Joshua Hayden was hunting with his brother in a paddock in Australia, when the brothers spotted three kangaroos. While one of the kangaroos got out of sight, Hayden stuck his body out of the window of the car he was in in order to take a shot at the other two kangaroos. Well that was the time that the kangaroo who was thought to have gone out of sight launched itself at the car.
Here’s what Hayden had to say:
“It actually collided with the side of the car and smashed the front window. Then it bounced back onto me and headbutted me straight in the jaw. I woke up and my brother was trying to tell me what happened. I said ‘No, you hit me’ and he said ‘No, the kangaroo did’.”

Here’s a closer look:
Oh boy. Well deserved, though. Hayden was told he would have to wait 10 days to have surgery because his face was too swollen to operate.
According to Hayden, he and his brother hunt kangaroos for food. Well, here’s a thought, perhaps kangaroos don’t like being shot at. So it’s nice to see they are fighting back.
