As baffled as I was to hear that a massive creature was found on a beach recently, I have to admit that I’m even more baffled by this story — a story that sounds like the first scene of a crime show I’ve decided to watch on Netflix for some reason.
A scary discovery was made on a river island near the Siberian city of Khabarovsk. That discovery? Oh, you know, just your typical find of a bag containing 54 humans hands. It seems that at first just one hand was found, but things got more absurd as the other 53 hands were found near by. Just take a look at this gross photo:

Police are investigating of course and have managed to lift a pair of fingerprints belonging to one of the severed hands. No word yet as to how in the hell all these hands got in a bag, but according to police these hands were put in the bag fairly recently as they look fresh. Again, gross.
Some folks believe either these hands were cut off as a punishment for theft, or they were cut off at a medical institution for student practice. And local media is stating that medical bandages and hospital-style plastic shoe covers were found near the gruesome bag of hands.
My theory? There’s a serial killer on the loose who enjoys cutting hands off simply to pat himself on the back for a job well done.
What’s your theory?
